网曝门 team members recently supported the delivery of a submarine-themed playhouse, designed and built by high school students in the ACE Mentor Program. The playhouse was donated to a local family through Zoey鈥檚 Light, a nonprofit that brings joy to children in Western New York with critical illnesses.

The project gave students a chance to apply their design and construction skills while making a positive impact in the community.

网曝门 Southeast team members recently attended the inaugural Durham Mayor鈥檚 Scholarship Ball on May 31. The company served as a table sponsor for the event, which supports scholarships and essential resources for students pursuing higher education.

The evening held special significance for Denise Barnes whose alma mater, Shaw University, was a co-host of the event. All guests at the 网曝门 table represented institutions that benefit from the impactful work of UNCF.

ENR New York, a key publication covering the state鈥檚 engineering and construction industry, has named 网曝门 its 2024 New York Contractor of the Year.

Each year, the publication selects one firm to spotlight based on criteria that include business success,听key projects and community engagement across the state.

网曝门, which eclipsed $1 billion in revenue in 2023, is celebrating its 80^th anniversary this year. The firm consistently ranks as upstate New York鈥檚 largest contractor and has seven offices across the state, as well as operations in New Jersey, North Carolina and Maryland.

As Contractor of the Year, 网曝门 will be honored at ENR New York鈥檚 Regional Best Projects Awards ceremony this fall and is profiled in the publication’s July issue. See below:

Recently, 网曝门 team members were on-hand to help the YMCA of Greater Rochester celebrate the opening of an airnasium at Camp Arrowhead.

网曝门 was construction manager for the airnasium 鈥� an open-air, roofed gymnasium that will be used for outdoor activities at the camp. The new airnasium features turf for sports like lacrosse and soccer, as well as bathrooms and locker storage.

鈥淭he concept for spaces like an airnasium has been realized over the past couple of years in communities across the country and we鈥檙e excited to bring it here to Rochester,鈥� said Ernie Lamour, President & CEO, YMCA of Greater Rochester. 鈥淎s a leader in youth service, our new airnasium gives us the unique chance to add to the breadth of programming the Y can offer.鈥�

The Y noted that the airnasium will enable Camp Arrowhead to serve an additional 500 day-campers this summer alone.

鈥淭his has been another great opportunity to help bring to fruition the Y鈥檚 ideas for new ways of serving youth and families in our community,鈥� said Jim McKenna, Senior Vice President, 网曝门. 鈥溚孛� is proud to play a role in bringing the first airnasium to the greater Rochester area and we can鈥檛 wait to watch the Y鈥檚 impact on our community grow with this space.鈥�

On June 12, the 网曝门 NY Capital Region team helped celebrate the start of the Charlton School project at a groundbreaking ceremony. Vice President David Hollander attended the event along with project team members Eric Coburn, Sr., Erica McCarthy, Bianca Arias and Tom Springer.

鈥淭his project is transformative, and will have a huge impact on the lives of the young women the school serves,鈥� noted Hollander. 鈥淲e really love to build projects that make a difference in the community.鈥�

网曝门 is the construction manager on the project, which will make building, infrastructure and landscaping upgrades throughout the entire residential school campus. The scope of work involves new underground campus infrastructure, demolition of existing structures, construction of new dormitory buildings and maintenance facilities, as well as extensive landscaping and roadwork.

On June 18, the Buffalo office participated in the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County鈥檚 annual Day of Caring — helping horticulturists maintain the historic grounds of the Richardson-Olmsted Complex. The South Lawn of the Complex serves as both a public park and an event space for several communities, including Elmwood Village, the Westside, Black Rock, and North Buffalo.
