Members of ������’s Southeast team recently participated in the Community Matters 5K supporting the . Proceeds from the event support the organization’s efforts to provide services to community members struggling with substance abuse and homelessness.

On September 11, a team of Rochester ������ employees participated in the Community Meal Pack Event. Held annually in collaboration with , the event brings together local companies, first responders and other nonprofit partners to honor the anniversary of September 11 through service.

The ������ team members were among a group of more than 400 volunteers who helped pack more than 145,000 healthy, shelf-stable meals for families in need. ������ was also a sponsor of the event.

������ teams across multiple regions are embracing the back-to-school season by supporting school supply drives in their communities.

In Rochester, ������ partnered with to collect donations for their “Operation Backpack” school supply drive.

The Southeast team partnered with to collect crayons and pencils for their “Fill That Bus” drive. In the office and across jobsites, the team collected 500 packs of both crayons and pencils to donate.

In Buffalo, the team collected donations for – a preschool that specializes in providing the proper support services for children with disabilities.

On Saturday, August 1, ������ sponsored and staffed a rest stop for bicyclists taking part in the annual Tour de Keuka. The scenic bike ride features 45-, 60- or 100-mile routes along Keuka Lake, and all funds raised benefit the 

The ������ rest stop team passed out water and snacks to riders taking part in the event.

Employees from ������’s Capital Region office recently volunteered at a Girls Construction Summer Camp hosted by the  and Whitbeck Construction. The program is designed to introduce young girls to careers in construction and the trades.

Over the three-week camp, participants learn hands-on building skills – constructing wooden toolboxes, dodecahedrons, mosaic tile tabletops and more.

�����󲹲���’s&�Բ�����;Southeast interns recently volunteered at the ’s Durham branch. The team helped package more than 9,000 boxes of food for senior citizens in the area.

������ Regional Director of Community Engagement and Inclusion Denise Barnes and Assistant Project Manager Tesa Debroux also spent the day volunteering with the interns.

������ recently joined Guthrie Community Credit Union in celebrating the ribbon cutting of its new headquarters in Sayre, PA.

The new two-story, 14,000-SF facility was designed to better serve members and the surrounding community. The building features modern office space, a drive-through window and a 1,000-SF community room – creating a welcoming space for both employees and members. Following the Guthrie team’s move into the new headquarters, the former building was demolished to complete the project.

The Buffalo office came together to host a food drive to help local families in need.

Led by Caitlin Lattanzio and Stephanie Pennington, employees donated nonperishable food items to support Gerard Place’s food pantry. Gerard Place is a Buffalo nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals and families through supportive housing, education, outreach and food distribution programs.

On June 26, a group of ������ summer interns volunteered their time to help prepare ESL Ballpark – home of the – for the Gus Macker three-on-three basketball tournament. The nationwide event brings together local community members of all ages to celebrate the history of street basketball.

The ������ team joined the and other volunteers to help assemble basketball courts and hoops ahead of the tournament.

On Friday, June 26, members of ������’s Buffalo team volunteered their time to support the (BUDC) Temporary Intersection Redesign project. The team joined other volunteers to help install temporary street improvements in Roosevelt Plaza in downtown Buffalo.
