The Buffalo office came together to host a food drive to help local families in need.

Led by Caitlin Lattanzio and Stephanie Pennington, employees donated nonperishable food items to support Gerard Place’s food pantry. Gerard Place is a Buffalo nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals and families through supportive housing, education, outreach and food distribution programs.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the food for helping to make a positive impact in the Buffalo community!

On Friday, June 26, members of ³¢±ð°ä³ó²¹²õ±ð’s Buffalo team volunteered their time to support the (BUDC) Temporary Intersection Redesign project. The team joined other volunteers to help install temporary street improvements in Roosevelt Plaza in downtown Buffalo.

On June 17, members of ³¢±ð°ä³ó²¹²õ±ð’s Buffalo team participated in ’s annual Day of Caring. The group spent the day at the , rolling up their sleeves to lay gravel, clear tree limbs and help clean up around the property.

ÍøÆØÃÅ Director of DEI and Supplier Diversity, Stephanie Pennington recently participated in a panel discussion at Elevate & Connect: All Access – Resource & Networking Day, hosted by Erie County.

The discussion focused on building meaningful business relationships to support growth in the MWBE and SDVOB community. Stephanie joined industry professionals to share insights on developing strong partnerships and creating opportunities for business success.

Sierra Sadowski, an estimator in the Buffalo office, has received her Certified Associate Constructor (CAC) certification from the

The certification recognizes individuals who have four years of qualifying experience or education and who pass the CAC exam. Congratulations to Sierra on this achievement!

On May 7, ³¢±ð°ä³ó²¹²õ±ð’s Buffalo team competed in the annual Tap Takeover event hosted by the .

The team faced off against employees from to raise money for the NAWIC scholarship fund. In the end, team ÍøÆØÃÅ came out on top, and the event raised more than $7,000 for scholarships.

On May 7, ÍøÆØÃÅ joined in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate completion of the club terrace roof project. ÍøÆØÃÅ Regional Operations Manager Chris Kulik attended the event alongside members of the project team.

ÍøÆØÃÅ served as general contractor on the project through its Buffalo office.

On May 5, ÍøÆØÃÅ team members Stephanie Pennington, Sierra Sadowski and MacKenzie Muldowney attended the LIFT Community Connections women’s networking event at Trocaire College.

The event provided attendees with an opportunity to network, share experiences and learn more about resources available through local women-focused nonprofit organizations. ÍøÆØÃÅ was also a sponsor of the event.

To celebrate  – held annually during the first week of May – ÍøÆØÃÅ project teams across all regions hosted safety stand downs, trainings and other events focused on promoting safe work practices.

• ±õ²ÔÌýRochester,  teams holding stand downs included those working on the CUP Eastman Quad Tunnel, CABIN Research and Occupational Therapy projects.
• ±õ²ÔÌýBuffalo, the team working on the Northland Corridor Redevelopment project held a stand down and team lunch, with a guest presentation from
• ±õ²ÔÌýCentral NY, several projects held stand downs throughout the week, including the Upstate Pathology Institute, Rice and Wing Halls, and Hotel projects.
• °Õ³ó±ðÌýSoutheast team held a stand down focused on fall protection at the Reuben-Cooke project. On the Charlottle-Mecklenburg Schools projects, more than 600 workers celebrated ÍøÆØÃÅ Week by asking “What’s your why?” and sharing why they work safely.
• In Corning, the team working in the New Gymnasium project celebrated with a safety stand down.
• °Õ³ó±ðÌý team held stand downs and team lunches at the Three Bridges at Redington, James L. Simmons Apartments and North Gate Landing projects.
• In the NY Capital Region, teams led stand downs on several projects throughout the week, including the , Bleecker Hall, ECSI, Parking Garage, The Spa Little Theater, Pavilions, and Sage Hall.

These activities reinforced ³¢±ð°ä³ó²¹²õ±ð’s ongoing commitment to safety – ensuring all workers return home safely at the end of each day from every jobsite.
