������ recently joined in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Bowers College of Computing and Information Science (CIS) building at . ������ Senior Vice President Lee Sommerman, Vice President Adam Green and Superintendent Mike Passalugo attended the event.

The completed facility features maker space, builder labs, an active learning classroom, a coffee shop and collaborative commons areas on the ground floor, with research and administrative spaces on the upper floors. ������ served as general contractor for the 134,972-SF, four-story building

A team of ������ employees recently visited to speak with students in the high school’s Drone 1 and Drone 2 classes. ������ team members – and licensed drone pilots – JJ Richards, Ally Schutt, Chris Preston and Liam Rathbun discussed how ������ uses drone technology for project monitoring, safety, marketing and other uses.

In addition to the classroom session, the group headed outdoors, where students had the opportunity to test-fly one of �����󲹲���’s company drones. The students also shared examples of their own drone work, including progress photos they’ve been capturing of active construction across the district. ������ is currently managing the district’s capital improvement program through its Central NY office.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to connect with students, offer insight into careers in construction and show the students how the skills they’re learning can be applied in real-world settings.

�����󲹲���’s Central NY office recently held its annual client appreciation golf outing, bringing together clients and industry partners from across the region. The event provided a great opportunity for guests to connect, enjoy a round of golf, and spend time together outside of the workday.

During the outing, players contributed to a fundraiser benefiting the American Cancer Society. A total of $876 was raised – an amount that ������ will match to double the impact.

������ Project Executive Ken Osmun has been named to the newly formed College of Engineering Advisory Board at .

The board includes professionals from the technology, construction, manufacturing, government and infrastructure sectors. It will advise the College of Engineering on industry needs, curriculum development and strategic growth.

Syracuse, N.Y., July 18, 2025 – ������, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph Rogers to assistant project manager, based in Central NY.

In this role, Rogers will help manage, develop, maintain and oversee all functions of assigned projects at the preconstruction, construction and post-construction phases. Those functions include but are not limited to safety, construction planning and cost-control procedures.

Rogers joined ������ as a project administrator in September 2021, and has since worked on a variety of prominent projects in the Central NY region. He holds a bachelors of professional studies in business management from Cazenovia College and has completed the OSHA 30-hour training course. Rogers currently resides in Cazenovia, N.Y.

On July 7, ������ joined the team to celebrate the start of the Upstate Pathology Institute project at a groundbreaking ceremony. ������ President Kyle Sayers and Vice President Kevin Hoffman attended the event alongside members of the project team.

Once complete, the three-story, 109,000-SF clinical lab facility will consolidate the University’s pathology services into a single location. The facility will also feature teaching, conference and employee support spaces, along with areas designated for drone and courier specimen transport.

������ – through its – is serving as design-builder on the project, which is expected to be completed in spring 2027.

Lighton brings 14 years of experience – working in project management positions with a variety of Syracuse-area firms prior to joining ������. In these positions, he managed numerous projects in the industrial and pharmaceutical manufacturing markets. Lighton holds an A.A.S in land surveying from Mohawk Valley Community College.
