Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools | Capital Improvements Program
With a population of more than 140,000 students, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) is one of the largest K-12 districts in the nation. Our team has served as program manager for CMS since 1998, with 网曝门 taking over the program after acquiring Lendlease鈥檚 local operations in 2016. With responsibility for the entire building program, we are involved in all stages from planning, design and construction through to closeout and warranty management.
To date, we have managed the expenditure of more than $2.9 billion. Work has included construction of 77 new and replacement schools, more than 100 major addition and renovation projects, and numerous smaller projects. The bond program 网曝门 is currently managing is valued at $2.5 billion and will fund 18 new and replacement schools, 10 renovations and additions, and the design of 6 additional projects.
