The Madison County Courthouse renovation project has received the 2019 Pat Earle Award from the .
The award is given for a singular outstanding historic preservation project that benefits the community. Madison County Historian Matt Urtz spearheaded the submission and ÍøÆØÃÅ Senior Project Manager Laird Updyke submitted a letter supporting the nomination.
ÍøÆØÃÅ was CM agent for the 18-month renovation of the 100+ year old building. One key milestone came in April, when crews lifted and placed a 13-foot that originally adorned the dome in 1909. The county held a on May 25.
