The new patio at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Lobozzo Alumni House has a familiar name: ÍøÆØÃÅ.
The ÍøÆØÃÅ Construction Alumni Patio is part of the Joseph M. Lobozzo Alumni House that opened on the school’s Henrietta campus earlier this year. ÍøÆØÃÅ built the patio, and also made a monetary donation to RIT’s Alumni Association to name the 3,500-SF space to honor past, current and future ÍøÆØÃÅ employees who are also graduates of the university.
On November 19, ÍøÆØÃÅ executives and many of the nearly 40 RIT alumni who currently work at ÍøÆØÃÅ attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the patio – even making s’mores at a large fire pit that is part of the outdoor gathering space.
Over the past 20+ years, the company has worked on more than 50 projects at RIT, and is now collaborating with LaBella Associates on the school’s future Cyber Security building.
Below are some photos from the November 19 event. In the center photo (left-to-right) ÍøÆØÃÅ Project Manager Rene Giannavola, RIT President Dr. David Munson, Jr., ÍøÆØÃÅ CEO and Managing Partner Bill Goodrich and ÍøÆØÃÅ Executive Vice President Kyle Sayers officially open the patio.
