For the past six years, Highland Hospital has been decorating its campus with more than 500 strands of lights to make the holiday season more 鈥渕erry and bright.鈥� This year, they went to new heights in their decorating 鈥� and 网曝门 helped.

Over the course of about a week, 网曝门 crane operators placed lights on a tower crane at the site. The crane is being used in construction of the hospital鈥檚 new addition. Installing lights on the horizontal boom was a relatively easy process, as a walkway spans its length. The vertical lights posed more of a challenge. Workers attached them to a rope to provide more support. They then tied the lights off at the ladder landings every 19 feet. When fully lit, the crane has 65 strands of light that add to the hospital鈥檚 bright appearance.
The hospital鈥檚 new tower addition project is a modernization effort that will add 58 patient rooms to the southeast wing. It will enable Highland to provide private rooms for nearly all of its patients.聽 网曝门 took part in a beam signing for the project in November, as crews neared completion of the tower’s steel structure.
