The United Minority Contractors of North Carolina (UMCNC) recently held its annual Statewide Industry Day on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
鈥淚ndustry day is an event where construction leaders across North Carolina can share construction opportunities for 2018 and beyond,鈥� explained 网曝门 Regional Diversity Manager Denise Thompson. It was the second year 网曝门 presented at the event, which attracted about 125 contractors, subcontractors, agencies and representatives of other construction-related businesses.
鈥淎 business owner leaving this event will be well equipped with access to all the information and resources they will need to successfully pursue and secure work across the state,鈥� noted UMCNC Chair Patrice Gilmore.
During their presentation, Denise and Project Manager Brandt Smith gave information about 网曝门, its XBE program and prequalification process and upcoming project opportunities in the southeast region.
