The week of May 7 – 11 was an important one for safety in construction. Across the industry, companies held events as part of the annual Construction 网曝门 Week; at the same time, OSHA 鈥� with support from the National 网曝门 Council and dozens of other groups 鈥� promoted National Fall 网曝门 Stand-Down Week to encourage employers to address fall protection and safety.
Many 网曝门 project sites held events to educate employees on falls and other safety topics as well as to celebrate safety and teamwork. Jerrod Garret, 网曝门 director of Environment, Health and 网曝门, noted that the week聽was not only a time for learning but also 鈥渁 time to step back and recommit to staying alert and making a conscious effort to ensure that everyone makes it home safely to their families every day.鈥�
