On April 8, the team working on 鈥檚 Engineering and Computer Science Initiative project marked a major milestone with a topping out ceremony, celebrating placement of the final beam on the new facility.

网曝门 Senior Vice President Lee Sommerman, Vice President Dave Hollander and Regional Operations Manager Andrew McKay attended the event, along with members of the project team.

The new facility will provide much-needed office, research, teaching and student spaces to support Union College鈥檚 growing engineering and computer science programs. 网曝门 is serving as construction manager on the project through its聽NY Capital Region office.

The Corning Museum of Glass B Building Studio Expansion project has received a 2025 Baldwin Group Build America Award from the . The project was honored in the Building Renovation ($20 million to $75 million) category.

网曝门 partnered with on the project, which more than doubled the Studio鈥檚 available space for glassmaking programs and popular attractions like Make Your Own Glass. The updated space also houses the first large-scale kiln casting facility in North America, leading-edge glassmaking technologies and an artist-in-residence center.

The project was previously recognized with an Award of Merit in the Regional Best Projects competition.

网曝门 Vice President Fred Thomspson and project team members David Hulse, Chris Morelli and Liam Rathbun accepted the award at the AGC National Convention in Orlando, FL.

At a ceremony on March 19, the Avery Residence Hall Renovation and Addition project received a 2025 Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award from the The project was honored in the Renovation: $20M 鈥� $100M category.

Serving as construction manager, 网曝门 worked with and construction management partner to upgrade and expand the residence hall. Work included replacing Avery鈥檚 heating and cooling system, adding a 4,570-SF addition with a new elevator and making additional improvements throughout the existing building to enhance comfort and accessibility.

The Avery Hall project was previously recognized with a 2025 Excellence in Construction Eagle Award from the聽

网曝门 Regional Operations Manager Kathryn Payne attended the event to accept the award.

网曝门 recently welcomed (RIT) students from a construction management class and the school鈥檚 Associated General Contractors (AGC) club for tours of the Occupational Therapy project.

During the visit, students walked through the project with the team and discussed topics including the proposal and bidding process, budgeting, contract execution, subcontractor management and change order tracking. It was a great opportunity to show students how what they are learning in class translates to the field.

网曝门 is serving as the construction manager on the project, which will transform and repurpose a nearby hotel for RIT鈥檚 occupational therapy program.

On February 25, 网曝门 joined for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the Janus project in Schenectady, NY. 网曝门 Vice President Dave Hollander and Director of Field Operations Eric Coburn, Sr. attended the event alongside members of the project team.

The project transformed the manufacturing facility to better serve DSM-Firmenich鈥檚 operations. The updated space now features a centralized dispensary, as well as customized packaging and advanced powder technology rooms. The facility鈥檚 layout is intended to improve workflow and increase efficiency.

尝别颁丑补蝉别鈥檚 NY Capital Region team partnered with architect as the design-builder on the project.

网曝门 joined聽 at a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 6 to celebrate completion of the visitor center project.

网曝门 Regional Operations Manager Chris Kulik spoke at the event, noting that building at the historic Graycliff estate was both an honor and a responsibility. 鈥淲e鈥檙e proud to have contributed to preserving such an important piece of history and look forward to seeing the Graycliff Visitor Center continue to thrive for years to come,鈥� he said.

The new visitor center features several architectural elements, including decorative cast-in-place concrete walls, full-height curtain walls, polished concrete flooring, natural woodwork and an inverted living roof system. These features enhance and expand the existing visitor center while maintaining the historic integrity of Frank Lloyd Wright鈥檚 Graycliff.

网曝门 recently welcomed students from聽鈥檚 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) chapter for a tour of the new Engineering and Computer Science Initiative project, which is currently under construction on campus.

During the visit, students connected with the project team, asked questions about the construction process and got a firsthand look at structural steel being erected on site.

The Upstate Pathology Institute project at recently reached a major milestone with the placement of the final beam, topping out the new facility.

Once complete, the three-story, 109,000-SF clinical lab facility will consolidate the University鈥檚 pathology services into a single location in DeWitt, NY. The facility will also include teaching, conference and employee support spaces, along with areas designated for drone and courier specimen transport, helping the institute better serve the surrounding community.

网曝门 is serving as design-builder on the project, which is expected to be completed in spring 2027.

The team working on the Heat Recovery and Controls Renewal (HRC) project has been leading site tours for groups of the university鈥檚 engineering students.

During the visits, students had the opportunity to engage with the project team, ask questions and discuss topics including site logistics, jobsite safety and constructability 鈥� building upon their coursework in various engineering fields.
